Other popular destinations include Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire State Park and Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

How to get to Las Vegas
Las Vegas is located in southern Nevada in the USA, in the Mojave Desert. You can reach the city in different ways. Once you arrive in Las Vegas, you can rent a car, take a bus , use public transportation, or walk to explore the city.
By plane
McCarran International Airport is one of the largest and busiest airports in the world, offering many domestic and international flights daily. There are direct flights from European cities such as London, Frankfurt and Paris. From the airport you can take a taxi, rental car or shuttle service to get to the city center.
By car
Las Vegas is accessible via several highways, including Interstate 15, which runs directly through the city. I-15 connects Las Vegas with Los Angeles to the west and Salt Lake City to the northeast. If you are coming from the south you can take US-93, while from the east you can take Interstate 40 or US-95.
By bus
There are also bus services to Las Vegas from various cities in the area, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Phoenix. Greyhound lines offer regular service.
Not by train
Amtrak offers train service to Las Vegas, but the city does not have its own train station. The trains stop in “nearby” cities like Kingman, AZ or Needles, CA and from there you can take a bus or a taxi to Las Vegas – although that’s not actually an option.

There are so many hotels on the Strip in Las Vegas that it’s hard to decide which one to stay at. Most are huge and offer incredible views of the city and surrounding areas.
