Coming to Puy du Fou is a guarantee of having fun and having a great time learning about the history and traditions of France! If you ask me, you will love this park. Also, I highly recommend Cinéscénie : it’s a great show that you absolutely must see!
3. The Futuroscope
Futuroscope is the first amusement park created in France. Located near Poitiers , the park renews its attractions every 3 years, while keeping the most popular! So, you will be able to see the famous Forge des Etoiles show imagined by Cirque du Soleil. Many activities await you, such as the 4D experience of the park which is truly sensational! In Future Expo, you will discover incredible technological innovations. In short, this park will fascinate young and old alike! This park was a real favorite for me , I really didn’t expect to have so much fun. I highly recommend it !
4. Parc Astérix
Parc Astérix is a famous Parisian amusement park inspired by the world of Asterix , the comic strip by Uderzo and Goscinny. Located a few kilometers from Paris , in Plailly, this park was one of the first amusement parks in France. The park includes more than 40 attractions , for young and old alike! Parc Astérix has existed for almost 30 years and welcomes more than 2 million visitors each year! It’s my favorite park because it guarantees you thrills and crazy sensations.
5. Nigloland
Nigloland is the perfect amusement park for young children! In fact, the park has 39 attractions , 28 of which are accessible to children under one meter tall. Located near Troyes, Nigloland has a park and four themed villages , in which the little ones will find horse rides or even car circuits. Also, the park has more than 10 thrilling attractions. If you’re not afraid, go for it! You won’t regret it (or maybe you will…) Personally, I recommend the roller coaster or the “Extreme Dungeon”.
6. Walibi Rhône-Alpes
Walibi is the only large amusement park in the Rhône-Alpes region . It’s also a must-do park for its thrills like the Hurricane! It is a giant fan , measuring almost fifty meters. Walibi also has a super large water park, measuring more than ten thousand square meters. Guests can enjoy slides, waterfalls and a rafting river. This park will therefore delight young and old alike! Younger children will be able to enjoy rides made for them, such as wooden horses or a small train. If you are passing through the region, then this is the ideal opportunity to come and discover this park!
7. The PAL
PAL is an amusement park located in the heart of Auvergne . The latter has 26 attractions as well as an animal park. You will be able to see more than 700 animals there! It is therefore a very beautiful natural space, where young and old come to relax and have a great time. There is even a little train that you can take to visit the entire park: a must do!

Vulcania is located in Auvergne : if you pass by there, I highly recommend that you visit this park. It is a theme park where you can see shows and interactive documentaries dedicated to volcanoes. Moreover, the park is located in the heart of the region’s volcanoes : it is therefore an incredible opportunity to be able to visit this place. It is therefore a very interesting park which will teach you lots of things and which gives access to more than 650 m² of discoveries!
