1. WHAT TRAINING IS REQUIRED TO INJECT FILLERS?

In Finland, both healthcare professionals and cosmetologists can train in the injection of fillers with courses offered by different companies / importers. It is up to the importer to decide whether they only train health professionals or also beauticians. For the time being, no authority supervises the training of perpetrators.

“It’s much safer if the caregiver has health care training.”

It is much safer for the client if the injector has the training of a doctor, nurse, or nurse. In this case, the injector is able to react safely and reliably even in problem situations. Valvira maintains a register of healthcare professionals, you can access the register here ( click ).

2. WHAT ARE FILLERS SUITABLE FOR?

Hyaluronic acid-based fillers can be used to fill and shape lips and other areas of the face. They can also correct wrinkles on all sides of the face, as well as the decolte and back of the hand. The most popular areas where fillers are used are, in addition to the lips, nasolabials, sibelius lines on the forehead, puppet lines on the forehead, and forehead wrinkles.

Some hyaluronic preparations are also well suited for deep moisturizing the skin and thus promote skin elasticity and prevent the appearance of superficial fine lines and wrinkles.

At IHANA, the customer has the opportunity to apply the filler to the desired areas on the face as long as there is enough filler in one syringe, so several problem areas can often be removed at the same time. For the time being, however, IHANA does not inject under the eyes or cheeks, for example, as special training and, of course, training are required in these areas. Sonja emphasizes that she always wants to receive appropriate training for the treatments she does.

3. WHO IS SUITABLE FOR LIP SHAPING WITH HYALURONIC ACID?

Hyaluronic acid as a form of treatment is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their appearance naturally, as hyaluronic acid is broken down naturally in the body through metabolism. Nor is it as radical or long-lasting a change as surgery.

The fillers used in IHANA Beauty Center do not contain any ingredients or plastics of animal origin. Thus, fillers are suitable for almost everyone, as hyaluronic acid per se is not known to cause allergies.

“Hyaluronic acid as a treatment is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their appearance naturally.”

Some diseases may prevent the use of fillers illegally, such as active cold sores and blood-borne diseases or a tendency to scar. If you have a persistent illness, it is a good idea to talk to your doctor about injecting treatment first. Illnesses are not always a barrier to treatment, so Sonja urges you to call first, or make an appointment for an on-site consultation at IHANA.

In addition to illnesses, it may also be an obstacle that too little time has elapsed since the previous filling, or that the filling was done with the wrong product or technique, in which case a new treatment must be waited for.

4. HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE MEASURE?

There is no need to prepare for the measure per se, other than by thinking carefully about what kind of change you want. If you wish, you can usually bring pictures to the reception. Sonja herself tells the customer immediately whether the wish can be fulfilled with the services she offers, and also recommends a suitable partner at the IHANA beauty center if there is a need for additional treatment.

When entering the treatment, it is advisable not to apply make-up to the skin areas to be treated, as they must be cleaned in any case.

5. DOES THE FILLING OF THE FILLER HAPPEN?

How much filler is applied depends on the individual pain threshold and the area of skin being treated. For example, in the area of the mouth, the injection does not hurt as much as in the lips.

In some places an injectable anesthetic or ointment is used. However, these increase the swelling, making it more difficult to see and complete treatment during the first visit. The risk of bruising is also significantly higher with the use of anesthetics. Anesthetic can also be used among the filler, but in this case the so-called to overfill because the anesthetic only evaporates a couple of days later, and only then will it be seen whether the end result is satisfactory.

In some treatment rooms, the skin area is anesthetized with the help of a cold pack, because in this case the result of the filling is immediately seen better. However, injecting is not completely painless.
